Listen to other people: Most people have got something useful to say about business, life but we often ignore their comments and idea and are too engrossed in our own lives and priorities. Other people's opinions offer great market research, listen and learn.
Keep your eyes and ears open: There is lot going on around you, offer ideas for better planning, greater efficiency, a new product etc. we have to be alert to our surroundings, otherwise we miss so much. True winners find opportunities- they rarely fall at your feet.
Give people a chance to talk: Not everyone is great at conversation, open them up. Ask the right questions and extract some useful feedback with just a few well chosen words and a show of interest in the other person's job.Share a conversation with others, talk less, listen more to others as well as yourself.
Stay fresh and alert: Plan your day better but more importantly your time and use of it. Good planners get in early and leave early. you need to be more alert with a fresh mind to grab new opportunity.
